My district
Last Sunday was the first real spring day of the year. Good occasion to go for a long walk in the city and to take some pictures. But today, I want to focus only on my own district.
I am living in the second district called Grzegorzki. Not so far from Wisla river and just outside of the old city, my district was for long time an industrial place, with for example the Wawel chocolate factory, quite famous in Poland. Industrial activities are now relocated and the district is under reconstruction. 15 minutes by foot from the Center makes the district very attractive and real estate projects are present everywhere.
My residence is a good example of new construction.
The Daszynskiego avenue was completly renovated, with grass and trees all along.
My flat is at 5 minutes by foot from a large mall called Galeria Kazimierz. Everything can be found there.
A little bit further is the Wisla river, right place for a Sunday sunny walk….
